    Default Rate Chart

If you go to the doctors office or the hospital you might see a pain chart. They often show smiley faces from 1 to 10. One is not bad and ten is very bad. On a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate your digestive issues? You don't have to think of it as in pain but how it disrupts your life and happiness. Of course if it causes pain you can include that as well.

One is not so bad and ten is the worst possible.

My varies from day to day, and I also have chronic pain. The pain and digestive issues affect one another, so often, when one is bad, the other is, also. Today, I would rate digestive around a 6 after meds, and pain a 9 after meds.

Mine sometimes can go from 4 to 8, but it depends on a lot factors like diet and stress. Some days I can swear I can feel the hernia in the abdominal area. Sometimes my IBS starts acting up all of a sudden... and that's when things get ugly. I get bloating very often, but abdominal pain not so often.

I'm a one. I don't have any digestive issues at the moment. That seems to be prevalent feeling most of the time. If there was any problems, it didn't last very long and I end up getting over it really quick.

Hey, I've seen that chart at a number of doctor's offices!

Most of the time when I have abdominal pain, I'm between a 5-7. There are times when I get into 9 or 10 and pretty much scream for relief, but they're not everyday occurrences. At this very moment I'm not having any pain or discomfort, and I'm grateful!
